Reprogram Within is made by Reprogram Within Pty Ltd (ABN 12 703 212 659), an independent Australian company. Contact: [support@reprogramwithin.com]. These terms apply to the Reprogram Within app on iPhone, Android and the web. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Reprogram Within plays stories, kind words and sleep loops in voices you choose, and offers short lessons about the inner voice. It is a wellbeing companion. It is not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a psychologist or a crisis line. If you are in distress, please contact the support lines shown in the app's Settings, or emergency services. The app's lessons describe published research; they are general information, not advice about you.
An adult sets up and operates the app. Teenagers aged 13 to 17 may use the Grow side with a parent or guardian's knowledge. Profiles for children under 13 are created and run by a parent or guardian; the child only ever sees the night screen or the Kid screen and never operates the app alone. You are responsible for anyone who uses the app under your profile or on your device.
Everything you record, write or compose in the app belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership of it. You are responsible for what you record and for having the agreement of anyone else whose voice you record. Messages a child will hear must be approved by a parent in the app before the child can hear them, and the app's Positivity Firewall may decline text that is negative, frightening or shaming; that is part of how the app is designed to work, not a judgement of you.
The stories, lessons, scripts, sounds and designs that come with the app belong to Reprogram Within Pty Ltd or its licensors. You may use them within the app for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell or redistribute them.
An echo is a generated copy of a voice that can read any story or script. Echoes are made only of consenting adults, who read a consent passage in their own words inside the app. You must not attempt to make an echo of anyone who has not consented, of anyone under 18, or of a public figure. Every echo is labelled as an echo wherever it plays. Removing an echo in the app deletes the voice from our service. Echoes depend on an online voice service and may be unavailable at times; a free allowance applies and further use is part of Plus, with a fair-use limit shown in the app.
The app works fully offline. Some features use our online services: the composer, invite links and echo voices. These depend on third-party providers and may change, pause or be withdrawn. Our privacy policy explains exactly what each one sends and keeps. You agree not to misuse these services, for example by sending abusive or unlawful content or by trying to access them outside the app.
Plus is a subscription billed monthly or yearly through Apple's App Store or Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time in your app store's subscription settings; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. A free trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
Modules (such as Foundations or Brave Little Me) and Complete and Keep are described in the app at the time of purchase. A module bought once remains yours for life, with or without Plus. If Plus lapses, everything you recorded stays on your device and keeps playing; only the Plus features pause.
Prices are shown by your app store in your local currency and may change; a change never affects a period you have already paid for. Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by them under their policies; contact the store first. Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that services are provided with due care and skill. If the app is faulty in a way the law covers, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides.
There are no accounts. Your data lives on your device. You can export everything as one file, restore it on another device, or erase everything, from Settings at any time. If you delete the app without exporting, your recordings are gone and we cannot recover them.
Do not use the app to harm, harass or deceive anyone, to record people without their agreement, to clone a voice without consent, or to break any law. Do not try to reverse-engineer, tamper with or resell the app. We may suspend access to online features for serious misuse.
We work hard to make the app safe and reliable, and we cannot promise it will be free of faults or always available. To the extent the law allows, Reprogram Within Pty Ltd is not liable for loss that comes from using or being unable to use the app, beyond what the Australian Consumer Law and other laws require. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded by law.
If these terms change, the new version will be published at this address with an updated date, and the app will tell you when a change matters. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state in which Reprogram Within Pty Ltd is registered. Any dispute will be handled in the courts there, without affecting your right to use consumer protection bodies such as the ACCC or your state's fair-trading office.
